Kate is the owner and director of Slainte Beauty. She is a dual board certified nurse practitioner in family practice and psych-mental health. Since starting her nursing career at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in 2001, Kate has gained clinical experience in cardiology, med-surg, ICU, and nursing and hospital leadership. She completed her masters in nursing at Allen College, and Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Iowa.
Kate started Slainte as a way to help people feel more confident in their appearance. She believes that when you’re confident about how you look on the outside, you feel better about yourself on the inside.
